　　Milestone微波新品發布會同時邀請到了有 “微波化學之父”之稱的H.M. (Skip) Kingston教授為發布會作主題報告，報告題目為：“微波化學應用新領域：環境健康分析、生化分析、形態分析”。 H.M. (Skip) Kingston 教授是微波化學的先驅，著有《微波化學：樣品前處理分析基本原理》、 《微波樣品前處理：理論與實踐入門》 兩部權威著作（美國化學學會作為工具書使用），作為美國EPA 6800，7473，3200，3052等多項標準的作者，對各種復雜樣品分析有豐富的經驗，本次發布會現場將為大家作精彩演講，歡迎大家光臨！

　　H.M. Kingston, 美國杜肯大學分析化學、環境化學教授，EPA標準制定者。

　　H.M. (Skip) Kingston is Professor of Analytical Chemistry and Environmental Chemistry at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. He is the author of the EPA method 6800 and participated in the validation of many speciated methods for environmental health. From 1976 to 1991 he was a Supervisory Research Chemist and Program Director in the Analytical Research Division of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). In the early 1990s, he conceived and headed the Consortium on Automated Analytical Laboratory Systems (CAALS), which was dedicated to developing automated analytical standards. For the past decade, Kingston has been actively involved in advancing the areas of speciation, analytical automated analysis and microwave enhanced chemistry analysis and applied analysis in autism and other environmental health areas through basic research and methods development. He has invented and authored over a dozen standard methods for EPA, ASTM, NCCLS, SEMI and other organizations including EPA Methods 6800, 3200, 7473, 3052, and others. He co -authored two landmark professional reference books for the American Chemical Society (ACS) entitled Microwave-Enhanced Chemistry: Fundamentals, Sample Preparation and Applications, and Introduction to Microwave Sample Preparation: Theory and Practice (in 1997 and 1988). Since 1987 he has received numerous awards for these innovative inventions. Among those are 3 R&D-100 awards: the 1996 R&D 100 Award for development of Speciated Isotope Dilution Mass Spectrometry (SIDMS) in 1996 and for the invention of chelation ion chromatography in 1989 and for the development of the microwave-enhanced chemistry in 1987. He holds a dozen patents in the field of (SIDMS), mass spectrometry automation, microwave-enhanced chemistry, chelation chromatography and others pending. He remains interested in the creation, development and automation of analytical/bioanalytical analysis methods.

(Skip) Kingston, 美國杜肯大學分析化學、環境化學教授，EPA 6800 作者，參與制定和編寫多項環境標準。1976~1991年期間，Kingston教授在美國國家標準局（NIST）工作并成為了分析部門的總監；90年代初，Kingston教授創立和領導了美國實驗室自動分析協會，制定了一系列實驗室自動分析標準。過去的十幾年中，Kingston教授在形態分析、實驗室分析自動化、微波化學、環境健康、自閉癥等領域進行了大量的基礎和應用方法研究，制定和撰寫了包括EPA 6800，7473，3200，3052在內的EPA, ASTM, NCCLS, SEMI等機構的十幾項標準方法。在1997年和1988年分別與人合著了”微波化學：樣品前處理分析基本原理”, ”微波樣品前處理：理論與實踐入門” 兩部美國化學會權威參考書。自1987年以來，Kingston教授獲得了包括3次R&D-100獎項（1996年：生物同位素質譜領域的研究開發，1987年螯合離子色譜的發明，1989年：微波化學技術的研究開發）在內的多項大獎。Kingston教授擁有自動化質譜，微波化學，螯合離子色譜等領域的12項ZL技術。Kingston教授對生物分析和分析自動化等技術的開拓和發展一直保持著濃厚的興趣。
